Llovers are a 4 piece indie-pop band from the North East of England. A young, ambitious, band spreading dream driven tracks channelled with unquestionable pop sensibility. The band, comprising of Jack Brooks (vocals/guitar), David Macnab (vocals/guitar), Joe Connor (bass/backing vocals) and Matthew Jenkinson (drums), have already landed support slots with the likes of Little Comets, Palace and TRASH in their short time together, as well as attracting widespread tastemaker coverage.
Debut single Borderlands (released November 2016) was a surefire introduction to the band, who only formed in October 2016. The track achieved numerous radio plays, being playlisted by Amazing Radio and being played on BBC Introducing as well as being added to Spotify's Hot New Bands playlist and gaining widespread attention from blogs across the internet.
Following on from Borderlands, Feeling Sound (released March 2017) reached similar heights, including airtime on BBC 6 Music, being playlisted by Amazing Radio and Spotify and also being used in an advertising campaign by Adidas.
In latest single I Don’t Mind (released September 2017), the band’s infectious blend of alt-pop truly comes to the fore, showcasing the exquisite harmonies and dreamy guitar work that has become a signature of the band. The song in it's first week of release charted at number 6 in the Dork Buzz Chart, and featured on E4's Made In Chelsea.
Having recently joined VANT on a couple of dates of their UK tour, as well as supporting Dream Wife and Caro, and with further new material set for release in the near future, Llovers are primed for more national exposure.
