Hailing from the outskirts of Manchester, Ambiere brings something different to the table with their chilled, ambient vibes. Fronted by the song writing partnership of Amber Lane-McIvor and Jake Blythe, the two could be classed as Manchester’s answer to the XX – creating what they call “fairytale grunge, with a jellybean peanut butter finish’’.
The use of creative instrumentation in the form of electronic drums and a wealth rolling synth lines comes courtesy of Oliver Lamb – the foundation of their live performances. Ambiere then layer indie-pop guitar riffs and catchy vocal hooks to create something truly unique. Having already supported the likes of Vogue Dots and Lovestarrs and an abundance of material ready for release, the future looks bright for the youthful three piece as they continue to build upon their name and reputation.
'Imagine the vocals of Vaults’ Blythe Pepino backed up by the spacious ambience of The XX' - The Line of Best Fit
'Beautiful' - Natalie-Eve Williams, BBC introducing Manchester,
