Saytr Play Cotton Clouds Festival Review

A few days ago I had the absolute pleasure of getting to catch Manchester’s Saytr Play for the 20th time at Cotton Clouds festival. And I can officially say this was one of my favourite shows from the boys.

Kicking off the set with Don’t Go East, a song that always gets the crowd dancing, the lads set the perfect pace for the rest of the energetic set!

Secondly the boys played VCR – an unreleased beauty which never fails to keep the audience hooked from start to finish.

Next we come across Honest Man- a personal favourite. Featuring amazing lyrics this song accentuates Fred’s effortless musical talent and connection with the crowd.

The boys continued their set with the same quick pace energy they began with.

Introducing well know tunes such as Mother’s Love to mass applause, along with more emotional songs, most notibly Everyday Since a beautiful love song which broke up the set perfectly.

But the true gem of the set came last with Bang Average – wow. A song which always brings the set to an end with a bang (no pun intended).

You can catch the lads on their November 2019 tour- dates and venues below.
